It’s hard to believe it has come around soquickly. However, as you’re reading this, we can assume the best- that is, you’ve survived the Christmas feast and perhaps, theoffice Christmas party too - so may I wish you all a very healthyand prosperous new year. The tills were certainly ringing in the second half of theChristmas period, which is just as well as the first half of themonth seemed somewhat lacking in activity right around the UK.Quite a nerve-wracking time for retailers, not to mention our economy as awhole. Fortunately, another great tradition at this time of year is, making the mostof those January sales and I get the distinct feeling that this year will havemuch to offer. Rest assured, I’ll be out there doing my bit for Lincolnshire plc,as Mrs Fisher always insists on getting most of next year’s Christmas shoppingin during the sales - I guess that also suggests she has less faith in my dietthan she’s admitting! I’ll almost certainly be looking for a travel bargain, somewhere warm and sunny to thaw out, while dropping a few pounds (OK,quite a few, as it happens). The arrival of a New Year also brings with it new hope. Essential if you’re apolitician, this year, I guess, but for the rest of us mere mortals it’s a time torevisit those much vaunted resolutions. I for one am trying to forget that thelast ten year’s worth didn’t quite work out, and am determined to haveanother crack so, whether you want to give up smoking, lose weight, or find abetter work/life balance, 2015 is bound to make it happen. In the meantime, we bring you another great magazine packed with articles, including our much sought after Lincolnshire walks, breathtaking shots from ourwildlife expert, inspiration for your homes and gardens and coverage of thelatest events taking place across the county, just to name a few…We hope you enjoy our latest offerings and judging by the phenomenalnumbers now visiting our online magazine, many readers are now keeping pacewith the news as it breaks between issues - so if you haven’t already, do click onwww.lincolnshiretoday.net.Good reading, as alwaysSteve FisherEditorLincolnshireToday@lincstodaylincolnshiretoday.netEditor:Steve FisherJournalists:Steve Williams, Michael Fisher, Stuart PearceySales Director: Teri CooperSales Manager: Angela CooperAccounts: Angela Sharman,John DownesCirculations: Dawn CookDesign & Production: Gary Jorgensen,Mark Casson, Rachel GreenAdvertising: Tel: (01472) 310302, Fax: (01472) 310312 Editorial:Tel: (01472) 310305, Fax: (01472) 310317Part Of The Business Link MagazineGroup: Armstrong House, Armstrong Street,Grimsby,N E Lincs DN31 2QEEmail: lincs-today@blmgroup.co.uk Website: www.lincolnshiretoday.net ISSN No: 1366-1299© All rights reserved.
