Maybe it will also be the charm inregards to those New Year’s Resolutions thatnever actually get done, but I won’t hold mybreath on that one. I think the problem is thatwe’re all so focused on coming up with resolutions for thingswe’d `like`, but don’t really want – or at least not enough to giveup forever. Despite the New Year, it often feels like not too much changesin Lincolnshire. The weather will remain the same and stay coldfor several more months, while winter fashions and food willprobably stay on the menu until February. That’s not to say therearen’t things going on of course, and our What’s On pages willsurely highlight a few events you had no idea were taking place.Given that it’s important to try something new in 2018, why notdrop by and attend one of those?Alongside that our January issue is packed full of goodness. We take a look at a reader’s home that catches the imagination, while also looking at what garden tasks need to be undertakenin preparation for oncoming spring. Our fashion pages highlightthe best winter has to offer and we also take a look at weddingspreparation for those fortunate enough to have their big eventtaking place in the coming year. All that and more in this, our first issue of the 2018 year…Happy New Year to everyone!Michael FisherEditorand the Lincolnshire Today teamLincolnshireToday @lincstoday lincolnshiretoday.netGroup Editor:Steve FisherEditor:Michael Fisher, Journalists:Dominic Cuthbert,Stuart PearceySales Director: Angela CooperSales: Kerry Randerson Accounts & Circulations: Angela Sharman, John Downes(01472) 310301Design & Production: Gary Jorgensen,Mark CassonAdvertising: Tel: (01472) 310302, Fax: (01472) 310312 Editorial: Tel: (01472) 310305, Fax: (01472) 310317Part Of The Business Link MagazineGroup: Armstrong House, Armstrong Street,Grimsby, N E Lincs DN31 2QEEmail: lincs-today@blmgroup.co.uk Website: www.lincolnshiretoday.net ISSN No: 1366-1299© All rights reserved. One box for items to take to your new home, another for items you don’t need which you can donate to your local Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance charity shop, and another for broken items. Work your way through your possessions, if it is broken, cracked or chipped put it in the box to throw it away. If it is an item you do not need, haven’t used for the past six months, doesn’t fit, is outgrown or is simply something you no longer want, pop it into the box to donate to the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.
