Juliet Holgateand her family have lived here for 15 years, since 2003,replacing everything within the house during their timethere to make it what it is today. The family moved into thesingle-storey barn conversion from Hertfordshire, looking forthe ideal place for the children to grow up in. We simply fell in love with thespace and light in the house!”Indeed when entering the five-bed home one is“wowed.” The dix blue front door opens to reveal a largeoak floored, vaulted entrance room featuring an openfireplace and wood burning stove. The house is split into 3wings - which can be described roughly as a living wing, kitchen wing and bedroom wing - that all lead off of thedrawing room. The spacious dining kitchen is Juliet’s favourite room inthe house, and she said that the family practically live in it.In the bespoke Mark Goodacre kitchen one will find pantrycupboards and fitted wall and base units arranged around adouble-oven Aga and, what is certainly the stand out featureof the space, an island unit.
