I’m notnormally given to moaning about the British weather, but after whatfeels like an eternity of grey skies, damp mornings, dismal afternoonsand a year’s rainfall every month, I was almost wondering if I ought tolive on an ark!But now, it really does feel like Spring has arrived. Everywhere you lookthere’s flowers poking through the ground and with the whirr oflawnmowers back with us, I even spotted a guy at the petrol stationthe other day with the hood down.To celebrate this change in seasons, this month’s Lincolnshire Today focuses on thegreat outdoors with more fantastic walks, gardens and inspiration for things to do toblow those wintery cobwebs away once and for all. Our countryside is coming alive with all sorts of wildlife making an appearance, anda whole host of birdlife returning to our shores. And for those looking at trying theirhand out at new activities, you’ll love our pursuits pages which cover among otherthings golf, cycling, fishing and boating down at Burton Waters. It’s enough tomake me want to put on my shorts just writing about it!Thankfully the clocks are going forward an hour too, so we might even be able toenjoy a little more time in the garden after work. I’ll certainly drink to that!We hope you enjoy our latest offerings and, don’t forget, you no longer need towait an entire month between issues - you can catch up with what’s happening inthe county every day at www.lincolnshiretoday.net.Good reading, as always,Steve FisherEditorLincolnshireToday@lincstodaylincolnshiretoday.netEditor:Steve FisherJournalists:Steve Williams, Mike Shields, Michael Fisher, Stuart PearceySales Director: Teri CooperSales Manager: Angela CooperSales: Marie RuddAccounts: Angela Sharman,John DownesCirculations: Dawn CookDesign & Production: Gary Jorgensen,Mark Casson, Rachel GreenAdvertising: Tel: (01472) 310302, Fax: (01472) 310312 Editorial:Tel: (01472) 310305, Fax: (01472) 310317Part Of The Business Link MagazineGroup: Armstrong House, Armstrong Street,Grimsby,N E Lincs DN31 2QEEmail: lincs-today@blmgroup.co.uk Website: www.lincolnshiretoday.net ISSN No: 1366-1299© All rights reserved.
