< Previous80 LINCOLNSHIRE TODAY Aries Mar 21 - Apr 20 Close the door on the past once and for all because you have a new life chapter awaiting you and much to look forward to. Organise your time wisely and start as you mean to go on by not standing for other people’s nonsense or negativity. Taurus Apr 21 - May 21 You will have plenty of opportunity to take positive action where your finances or any legal matters are concerned. At last, you will feel as though you are gaining control of your life and feeling strong again. Gemini May 22 - June 21 It’s time to put your own interests first and learn to keep your counsel. A secret meeting with someone you find attractive and fun to be with will act as a distraction until you are much clearer in your heart and mind as to which direction to go in next. Cancer Jun 22 - Jul 23 Love and romance are in the air and a new friendship could blossom into a full-scale romance. The course of true love rarely goes smoothly resulting in you finding all these exciting developments rather scary because everything is moving so quickly. Leo Jul 24 - Aug 23 You have the power to change many things, but the most important is that you start working on changing yourself. Good news regarding finances as an increase of monies will serve to boost your confidence, enabling you to plan for the future. Virgo Aug 24 - Sep 23 You can be an amazing friend and loyal family member and your true character is to be generous and understanding, that is until you feel you have been deceived or used for your money. Something you always thought of as being difficult will come easily to you, so make the most of every golden opportunity coming your way. Libra Sep 24 - Oct 23 Some one new will arrive on the romantic scene who will impress you greatly, but you will still take your time before making any kind of long-term commitment because you have no intention of repeating past mistakes all over again. Scorpio Oct 24 - Nov 22 Deep rooted emotional matters will be foremost on your mind as a result of all the recent life changes and transitions you have had to work through. Although your power will increase greatly over the coming months, so will your responsibilities, but nothing you cannot handle once you have a grasp of what is expected of you. Sagittarius Nov 23 - Dec 21 You like to put others first, but there are times when its necessary to think about your own happiness and wellbeing. At times all relationships and partnerships can prove confusing and thoroughly hard work and there is someone you cannot make head or tail of what has got into them or why they are behaving so strangely. Astrology by Linda Lancashire 0776 4466381 www.lindalancashire.co.uk teresastanley1@btinternet.co.uk Capricorn Dec 22 - Jan 20 Frustrations with certain people continue to grow and the pressure is on for you to make a few important decisions. Pay close attention to your finances making sure that anyone who owes you money repays the outstanding debt. Aquarius Jan 21 - Feb 19 Treat yourself to something extravagant and utterly luxurious because you deserve it. Don’t be surprised if you suddenly decide to move house because you are seeking a fresh new start. Its utterly pointless wasting any more time dithering about whether or not you are doing the right thing. All that matters now is your personal happiness and peace of mind. Pisces Feb 20 - Mar 20 Even if things do seem fine on the surface, beneath that calm exterior there is a lot going on behind the scenes that other people don’t have the faintest idea about. You will have to look closely at your lifestyle and examine the state of your finances before committing yourself to anything new. So far this year, the rear fuselage has been stripped down. With all its part laid out in the hangar ready to be checked and cleaned, and photographed from above, it “looks like an Airfix kit would in the packet”. Speaking to the BBC, Centre Manager Andrew Panton said: “The Lancaster is a sectional aircraft, so it does come apart in its major component pieces and bolts back together again in a similar way you’d glue an Airfix kit together.” Were that is was as simply as gluing parts into place to finish the project. watercooler 82 LINCOLNSHIRE TODAY LincolnshireToday @lincstoday lincolnshiretoday.net Have we missed anything? Send your rib-ticklers to d.cuthbert@blmgroup.co.uk The lockdown has been hard on all of us, but it’s also brought out the best of humanity and demonstrated the true meaning of community. In this special edition of By the Watercooler, we bring you three stories that have emerged over the lockdown that have made us smile and, we hope, will also bring you joy. Rare golden egg auctioned in Lincolnshire breaks previous sale price If you’re looking to make a small fortune, try turning your hand to rare golden eggs. The 22ct gold Cadbury’s Condundrum sold for a record £17,200 at an auction in Lincolnshire back in 2017 but, this year, it beat its own record sale price to sell for £31,000. Greg Bateman, auctioneer from Bateman’s of Stamford, said the new sale set a record for the auction house. The golden creme egg was one of twelve made by the Queen’s official jeweller back in the eighties for a national treasure hunt. Who knew people loved eggs so much? Well, it is Easter, after all. By the Latest update from Maggie Thatcher statue saga Another watercooler, yet another update in the continuing saga of the Maggie Thatcher statue. When we last checked in, a controversial plan was in place to use £100,000 of taxpayer cash to underwrite an unveiling ceremony for the statue in her hometown of Grantham. However, these plans have now been scrapped. Unsurprisingly, many people were unhappy about this and, following criticism, taxpayer’s will now no longer be forced to fork out for it. But we doubt this is the last we’ve heard. © Douglas Jennings/PA © Rod Kirkpatrick / F Stop Press © Bateman’ s of Stamfor d 82.qxp_Layout 1 26/03/2021 15:51 Page 19 Clifton Street, Stonefield Park Industrial Estate, Lincoln, LN5 8LQ tel: 01522 546118 email: sales@lincolncopycentre.co.uk www.lincolncopycentre.co.uk SINGLE USE MENUS / NOTICES AND SIGNS / INFORMATION LEAFLETS LOGOS AND BRANDING / STATIONARY / BUSINESS CARDS / NEWSLETTERS POSTCARDS / FLYERS / BROCHURES / VINYL BANNERS / ROLLER BANNERS / POSTERS / PLAN PRINTING Printing / Copying Graphic Design More than 40 years in business CLICK & COLLECT SERVICE Working within COVID-19 guidelines One You Lincolnshire understand how difficult it can be to quit smoking.
