This involved a set of leadership trainingexercises, including a day on the High Ropes at RAF Cranwell.They also spent time at the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight andwith a Typhoon Squadron at RAF Coningsby, where they werementored by Typhoon pilot Flt Lt Helen Seymour and OfficerCommanding BBMF Sqn Ldr Duncan Mason.During their time at RAF Coningsby, the students were shownhow teamwork and leadership is demonstrated on a front-linesquadron, as well as historically through the bravery of the crewon board aircraft such as the Lancaster Bomber. Selected youngpeople were lucky enough to have a go in the Typhoon simulatorand they all came away from the experience thoroughly inspired.Their Level 1 counterparts progressed through a series ofteamwork, problem-solving and communication workshops.
