Thismonth we speak with John Crouch, leader of Jazz Vehicle, the band ismade up of school pupils agedbetween fourteen and nineteen whohave been entertaining Lincolnshireaudiences for nearly three decades. What do you love about Lincolnshire? It’s altogether a fabulous place to live. That’s thanks to the people ofLincolnshire, the geography and for me, working with fabulous students.Do you have a favourite place in the county you like to visit? The Lincoln Bailgate area including the Cathedral, Castle and Bishops Palace is amagical place at Christmas, if you manage to get there before the crowds. TheCollection area is also worthy of a visit. My second choice would be Cadwell Park. The best night out would be a concert in the Cathedral or Drill Hall followed by ameal in Bailgate. What would you say sums up Lincolnshire people? They’re friendly, welcoming, accommodating and supportive. What’s the highlight of the year for you in the county? It would have to be a Jazz Vehicle performance, of course! I also love theLincolnshire Show as it offers students many “real” performing opportunities infront of an audience.LincolnshireToday @lincstoday lincolnshiretoday.netStay in touch withLincolnshire TodayWe love to know what you think ofLincolnshire Today – so get in touch with us viaTwitter at @lincstoday or search for us onFacebook.
