Last month’s solution Lincolnshire Today’s guide to the astro month ahead... Aries Mar 21 - Apr 20 Recently you have conquered a lot of demons and whereas you may have lost a few battles, you are definitely winning the war. You know it’s time to sort out the wheat from the chaff and make a conscious effort to do just that. Taurus Apr 21 - May 21 Time spent in the company of those who consistently drain your energies is time wasted. Long distance communication with someone new could lead to a meeting of the minds, hence a new beautiful friendship is born, which in some cases could lead to a lifelong relationship that will be lasting and fulfilling. Gemini May 22 - June 21 You may secretly be worrying about your financial situation, but do remember, it’s your choice alone as to how much you spend and on what you decide to blow hard earned cash on. Domestic arguments look unavoidable as discussions will get heated as everyone wants to be right, even when they are wrong. Cancer Jun 22 - Jul 23 Even though you probably feel frustrated and unable to make neither head nor tail of your current situation, be assured that things are about to change. Positive news about business and investments are well starred and agreements will be easily reached between yourself and someone who is operating on your wavelength. Leo Jul 24 - Aug 23 If you constantly wait for a kettle to boil, it seems to take an eternity. Right now you cannot force anything to go any faster, but what you can be certain of is that you will begin to feel a lot better because you are finally back in the driving seat once more. Some incredible developments in your personal life will be enough to take your breath away. Virgo Aug 24 - Sep 23 Someone is about to do an enormous U-turn and agree that you were right all along and just when you were about to throw the towel in and walk away in a huff! A financial burden will also begin to lift, giving you more peace of mind and the opportunity to free yourself of a number of shackles. Libra Sep 24 - Oct 23 You are attracting an enormous amount of attention and interest from someone who wants more than just a platonic friendship. A complicated triangle of love may suddenly commence even if it means doing everything behind closed doors. Some of you may be experiencing some on-going frustration with the behaviour and attitude of a current partner. Scorpio Oct 24 - Nov 22 Suddenly you have found yourself on a social merry go round, but to the point where you also crave some personal space and uninterrupted quiet time. If you are interested in changing your career or diversifying into new horizons, now is the time to put plans into action. A bit of financial good news will indicate that there are better and more secure times ahead to enjoy. Sagittarius Nov 23 - Dec 21 Part of you is feeling a lot happier with your lot and the other part is still restless and agitated because you are still not getting what you think you want quickly enough, and by the look of things, you will still have to wait a while longer. Capricorn Dec 22 - Jan 20 Interesting developments affecting both your personal and working life over the next few weeks will determine exactly which direction you are finally destined to go in. But have no fear, everything is meant to be and in your case events will work out in your favour. Aquarius Jan 21 - Feb 19 Perhaps now you are starting to see a number of matters and individuals in their true light. Major changes are taking place that are completely necessary if you are to move forwards in a positive direction. You may feel extremely protective of a couple of close friends or relatives whom you are now beginning to understand. Pisces Feb 20 - Mar 20 Close and trusted friends and family are the most important people in your life. Your instincts are second to none and always spot on. Not one to suffer fools or spend time listening to others whining and complaining, you are right to switch off from these frustrating types and focus only on what matters the most to you. 481962573 759183462 326475189 217536894 698724315 534819726 973658241 845291637 162347958 269743185 784519236 513682479 947138562 132956748 658274913 875321694 426897351 391465827 A2P3Rclassified To advertise your services call Angela Cooper at Lincolnshire Today on 01472 310310 British Classics Heritage Motors Parts 1948 to date Retail Trade Export Special Projects Restorations Manufacturing Modifications Country Workshops Risegate, Nr Spalding, Lincs, PE11 4EZ Classic Landrovers Tel/Fax 01775 750223 www.british4x4centre.co.uk Motors Stuart Wilde Photography Ltd The best photography is about much more than taking a picture. Fresh research out of the University of Lincoln suggests so! The study by animal behaviour and cognition experts has made new discoveries about reptile sentience which could reshape how they are cared for, putting forward evidence that red- footed tortoises experience long-term mood states. It adds to a growing body of research showing reptiles have more complex inner worlds than previously thought. Oliver Burman, professor of Animal Behaviour and Welfare at the University of Lincoln, said: “This is an exciting finding that represents a significant shift in our understanding of what reptiles can experience, with important implications for how we care for these animals in captivity and interact with them in the wild.” Peacock problems Residents in a Lincolnshire village are divided over sharing their home with around 30 wild peacocks. Having prowled through Hibaldstow for decades, though they may be a beautiful sight, the birds are also causing chaos — so much so that they have hit national news outlets. Sharing differing opinions on their feathered friends with The Telegraph, some have reported how the peacocks are attacking their cars, attempting to fight their reflections in the paint or polished bumpers. Gardens and graves have also been damaged, while the birds are further said to make loud noises at anti- social times. The increasing peacock population is causing concern, with a suggestion made at a village meeting for reducing the numbers. The conclusion, however, was that the peacocks would be staying. watercooler 66 LINCOLNSHIRE TODAY LincolnshireToday @lincstoday lincolnshiretoday.net Have we missed anything? Send your rib-ticklers to t.egginton@blmgroup.co.uk By the Roman toddler on the loose It turns out toddlers were just as mischievous more than a thousand years ago as they are today, with a new museum in Wragby illustrating their energetic behaviour. A vacant shop in the town’s market place has been transformed into a museum telling the area’s story as a strategically important community where five roads meet. Among the treasures on display, however, are Roman floor tiles, that incredibly still show the footprints of a toddler running loose around the workshop as they laid out to dry, more than 1,600 years ago! It is just one of a number of Roman artefacts discovered locally over the years, with the town dating back to pre-Saxon times. © stock.adobe.com/jayk67 © stock.adobe.com/Faisal © stock.adobe.com/Eric IsseléeByyourside then, nowand inthefuture Learn about our free Will Writing Service at ambucopter.org.uk/will Ourfirsthelicopter,1994 LNAACT REG CHARITY 1017501 Printing|Copying|Graphic Design LOGOS | BRANDING | BUSINESS STATIONERY FLYERS & POSTERS | BROCHURES | NEWSLETTERS A0 COPYING & SCANNING | OS MAPPING CAD & PLAN PRINTING | PRINT FINISHING High Quality Print & Design in Lincolnshire N 01522 546118 E sales@lincolncopycentre.co.uk www.lincolncopycentre.co.uk 45 YEARS IN BUSINESSjoin over 90,000 customers at toob.co.uk or call 023 9300 9300 compared to other leading broadband providers. new customers only.
