In years past, we probablydespaired at that, but given the heat waves that haveblanketed the county, a little rain is more than welcome.Certainly, our gardens could use it – as our grass islooking a little sparse in patches. The weather being what it is, it hasn’t stopped the county from truckingon like normal, as we’ve seen in the pages of our magazine with events, news and all manner of exciting things taking place. Our September issueis all about getting out there and visiting new places, with a focus on theborder in the form of our Newark area feature, and a look more inward, atHorncastle, a market town with a lot to offer.Beyond that, we look at a reader’s home and how they’ve made itspecial, and we also have a home trends feature this month focused onstoves and heaters, in preparation for the colder nights that will inevitablylay ahead. With how hot the summer has been, it would be prudent toexpect a winter of similar extremes. We’ve also had a wide array of events coming up this month, whichwe’ve painstakingly had to choose between to include in our What’s Onsection. With warmer recipes for dining, autumns fashion and more, ourSeptember issue is packed full of goodies.Good reading, as alwaysMichael FisherEditorand the Lincolnshire Today teamGroup Editor:Steve FisherEditor:Michael Fisher, Journalists:Dominic Cuthbert,Stuart Pearcey, Tess EggintonSales Director: Angela CooperSales: Kerry Randerson Accounts & Circulations: Angela Sharman, John Downes (01472) 310301Design & Production: Gary Jorgensen, Mark CassonAdvertising: Tel: (01472) 310302Editorial: Tel: (01472) 310305Part Of The Business Link Magazine Group: Armstrong House, Armstrong Street, Grimsby,N E Lincs DN31 2QEEmail: lincs-today@blmgroup.co.uk Website: www.lincolnshiretoday.net ISSN No: 1366-1299© All rights reserved.
