< Previous80 LINCOLNSHIRE TODAY Aries Mar 21 - Apr 20 Keep trivia out of the picture and only deal with what needs to be done. Don’t plough money into anything without first being thorough. Make enquires. Ask questions. Don’t be fobbed off with feeble excuses nor waste your time talking to those who do not have the necessary information to hand. Taurus Apr 21 - May 21 You have a strong sense of duty to others but are often plagued with doubts about your own capabilities. A new romance may start, or an unsatisfactory run of bad romances may come to an end. Someone at work may try to force your hand regarding a matter of principles. Gemini May 22 - June 21 Although you love to be in the middle of all the action, recently there may have been one too many demands made upon you and your time. Always ready to help, you may have inadvertently caused yourself more hassle than anticipated. Suddenly you are back in control Cancer Jun 22 - Jul 23 Radical changes will take place that indicate the start of the lifestyle shift you have been working towards. Your confidence will be boosted by a series of exciting events that could involve a brand-new romance. You are thirsty for knowledge and devoted to your work. Make a point of never going backwards. Leo Jul 24 - Aug 23 Fate is working in your favour. A wrong turning, an overheard conversation or a chance meeting will ensure that you are in the right place at precisely the right time. The only danger is that you will throw off all self-restraint and start spending money like water. Virgo Aug 24 - Sep 23 Lunch or dinner with a friend offers a little light relief from the stresses of everyday events. Romance is in the air for those who are looking for a soul mate. Scrutinise legal papers before signing. Make sure everything is in order so as to avoid a costly mistake. A house move could soon be on the cards. Libra Sep 24 - Oct 23 Someone you once saw as being staid and boring may surprise you with an impromptu invitation and a most enjoyable date, filled with unexpected fun and laughter that could lead to a change of direction. Scorpio Oct 24 - Nov 22 Heaven help anyone who tries to use you for their own ends because they will be dealt with severely. Someone will show his or her true colours and whereas initially you will feel upset and let down, there will be a silver cloud in the grey lining that works to your advantage. Sagittarius Nov 23 - Dec 21 This is a special time for looking after people, being charitable and generally helping others. Your empathy levels will be unusually high making you the ideal shoulder for others to cry on. Romance and love will come dancing onto your stage once you stop being so needy. Astrology by Linda Lancashire 0776 4466381 www.lindalancashire.co.uk teresastanley1@btinternet.co.uk Capricorn Dec 22 - Jan 20 You may need to change your work pattern to accommodate family needs. Juggling all the balls in the air is proving tiring and expensive. Don’t sit on the fence regarding a love situation. Be open about what your expectations are. Do not make the fatal mistake of settling for second best. Aquarius Jan 21 - Feb 19 Feelings of guilt or worry about being unable to maintain your standards will be swept away by loved ones showing you their appreciation and recognition of what you are trying to achieve. Your days of being grateful for a few scraps off the table are over. Pisces Feb 20 - Mar 20 If you play your cards right, there is plenty of scope for developing money spinning ideas. You could turn a hobby into a successful business venture. Just use your imagination. Have more confidence in your abilities. Don’t allow a so-called friend drip feed you with warnings of impending doom and gloom. Instead of the typical fatty foods and fizzy drinks, these machines dispense poems and short fictions. Users can select from three different lengths of short story that are then printed on eco-friendly paper. The machines will offer bite-sized pieces of literature from masters including Virginia Woolf and Charles Dickens which can be read in just a few minutes. It’s a great initiative to help people fit literature into busy lives. Hopefully we’ll see more of them in universities, perhaps even shopping centres, across the county in the future. Wonder if they have 50 Shades of Grey? 82 LINCOLNSHIRE TODAY Stay in touch with Lincolnshire Today We love to know what you like most (and least) in Lincolnshire Today – so get in touch with us via Twitter at @lincstoday or search for us on Facebook. Send your rib-ticklers to d.cuthbert@blmgroup.co.uk Lottery winner won’t give up Skegness holiday Readers might recall that back in the summer, a lucky Yorkshire lass won the National Lottery’s Set For Life game, securing £10,000 every month for thirty years. Despite the life-changing nature of the win, Vicky Mitchell said she won’t be swapping her holiday to Skegness next year. Although she’ll be travelling to stunning European cities with her new-found financial security, she’ll still be popping down to the seaside resort with the kids and partner Adam. If you think that’s weird, they both intend to carry on working. Who thought admin could be that interesting? Short story vending machine arrives at Lincoln Uni Grimsby seeks red telephone box from Grimsby Have you been to Grimsby recently? It’s a beautiful town with golden beaches, charming architecture and a real community spirit. That’s Grimsby in Canada, by the way. Yes, the Lincolnshire town gave its name to a lovely community in Ontario, a community that is now trying to source an authentic red telephone box from North East Lincolnshire to install in their downtown area. But why stop with the telephone box, let’s offer Canada a true taste of the original Grimsby with its high crime rates, homelessness, empty shops, floundering industry and grubby high street.
