Here, we talk to Sleaford-based artist Jason Wilsher-Mills on whatmakes it stand out for him. What do you love about Lincolnshire and why?I love the coast, and the epic flatness of the west andsouth of the county, but mostly it’s the fact thatLincolnshire is so ‘untouched’ and you can really accesseverything as they have always been. There is a timelesssense to the county, as it is so immersed in history. Onehas only to look at Lincoln itself for this, and the fact thatthe Magna Carta has a home there.Where is the best night out in the county? The best night out is with my family. We love goingout for meals and particularly enjoy a curry at the Agraand La Royale Indian restaurants in Sleaford.Do you have a favourite place in the county to escape to?I really like Whisbey Nature Park is wonderful also, for a lovely work around the waterand then a coffee overlooking the nature reserve. I also love the rolling hills of the wolds. If you were recommending things to do in Lincolnshire for those not from theseparts, what would it be?Definitely visit Lincoln Cathedral. As a family we look forward to our visits to Lincolnand particularly enjoy the restaurants at Brayford Wharf, which is usually our first port ofcall before going to the cinema. In terms of culture, then there is nowhere better than avisit to the National Centre for Craft & Design in Sleaford. It’s a real hidden gem.LincolnshireToday @lincstoday lincolnshiretoday.netStay in touch withLincolnshire TodayWe love to know what you think of Lincolnshire Today – so get in touch withus via Twitter at @lincstoday or search for us on Facebook.
