Lincolnshire’s latest claim to fame isbeing the crash site of a Bakewellpudding that came from outer space.That’s right, students at a Derbyshireschool attached the dessert to a high-altitude balloon back in June. But thepud went missing after being launchedinto space. Last known communicationwith the sweet treat was 52,000 feet over Saxilby. Efforts to track down thedessert caused something of a stir online. Eventually, it was found in themiddle of July in a farm near Louth.
