This monthwe catch up withDavid Hallam,Managing Director ofOrderWise. My favourite place in the county is my own village of Saxilby.Tucked away just outside of Lincoln, it’s one of those peacefulvillages that is full of rural charm and that’s exactly why I decided tobuild my family home here. The people are welcoming and theviews to Lincoln across the fields are fantastic. It’s also the reason I set up my business OrderWise here in 1991.As a national business with clients based everywhere from Scotlandto Cornwall, there’s an advantage to being at the centre ofeverything with easy links by road to the north, south and rest ofthe midlands. Having just celebrated 25 years in business, I’d like tothink we are also unique in the fact that we are a rustic, but moderncompany. Being based in Saxilby only adds to that feeling which iswhy it has been our home for the last quarter century and willcontinue to be for many years. Having lived most of my life in the county, I’d recommend it toothers simply because it’s great. It’s also the perfect place to start abusiness as the community here is supportive and you get to workwith some of the best people in the country.LoveLincolnshirePHOTO: SHUTTERSTOCK.COM/LOUIS MURPHY90_Layout 1 19/09/2016 10:43 Page 1www.riversidetrainingspalding.co.uk01775 710945Take your next step towards your careerStudy a qualification with Riverside Training,we offer Apprenticeships, Traineeships,NCFE/CACHE qualifications forTeaching Assistants, Early Years and Health/Social CareNew courses commencing monthlyRTPLACES AVAILABLEFOR IMMEDIATE START91_Layout 1 19/09/2016 10:44 Page 101507 462 936The Old Methodist Church, West Street, Alford,Lincolnshire, LN13 9DUFurniture SpecialistsUnique SurroundingsFriendly StaffFREE DELIVERY & SET UP92_Layout 1 19/09/2016 10:44 Page 1Next >
